Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 New York City New York) has received acclaim for her abilities to perform across genres such as historical dramas, thrillers and action films. Johansson was born in New York City, and lived there with her producer father and architect mother. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. At the age of seven, she was already casting for TV commercials. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and later took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she performed with Ethan Hawke at age 8 and then in North directed by Rob Reiner in 1994 she made her debut in film. Johansson was next seen with Ethan Hawke in Just Cause (1996), but the film Manny & Lo 1996 that provided her with a breakthrough. It is a story about two girls orphaned and running away. The film, The Horse Whisperer, Johansson appeared as a teenager victimized by a tragic accident. The role she played in Ghost World, 2001 as the tween who is a solitary Rebecca was a further boost to her profile. She's given several of the most captivating shows, like in Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith started her acting career from a very young age. When she was a kid, she was attracted to acting. Smith landed her very first acting gig at seven years old thanks to help from her parents. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Much like many of the actresses just starting out, she decided to perfect her skills in the field of theatre. In the time she staged her debut with Wildflower she worked in various projects throughout the USA. She received her education in The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
