In 1988, she came back to the limelight with her smash album "Lita". The album was an instant smash for the track 'Kiss Me Deadly,' and the ballad 'Close My Eyes Forever. However, the popularity in her professional career was brief as for a number of years she was out of the entertainment industry. In 1995, she released 'Black and a few years following, "Wicked wonderland", she re-emerged. She released her latest album in 2016, titled 'Time Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
